This coming Thursday we will be releasing the newest, and probably the final build before final release. We've been pretty busy these last 4 weeks adding a whole lot of new and exciting features to the program, plus we've fixed the pesky server-crash bugs!
A few highlights:
1) Better audio quality: Administrators can now pick their KHZ setting. Before this build it was locked at 22Khz, your choices are now 11Khz, 22Khz, and 44Khz. We expect the standard to be 44Khz and for lesser values to only be used if members of your community have really poor internet connections and require the lower quality levels. Going to 44Khz doubles the audio quality and really sounds a ton better!
2) Channel Comments: Users have requested that we allow for channel comments for quite some time now. So, you asked, and we implemented. Thursday's version will have nifty channel comments :).
3) Fixed Query Sorting & Forced Encryption: Administrators will now be able to force voice encryption for all connected clients should they decide to do so. This allows for very-secure communication, a feature unique to Mohawk. Due to our focus on light-weight integration the encryption feature uses only a tiny bit more CPU power. We've also fixed the query sorting which will allow us to release a nice web based query script for users to post on their website (just like similiar query scripts, you'll be able to see who is connected to you Mohawk Server and in what channel, etc).
4) Other bugs, improvements, etc: We've fixed 31 other mostly small bugs including the error that would cause servers to crash. I won't bore you with the details now, but they will be posted in the "What's New" document included in the new build -- your welcome to read the full detailed change report then.
Thanks for supporting our project guys, your help and input has been so crucial! Keep it up.
Thanks again
