Later this week (probably Thursday), we'll be releasing the next build of Mohawk.
Here are some of the changes we've made, let us know if you think we should try to get anything else added in for this build:
1. Bug 210 [Client] The e-mail address “Lee@121-hosting.co.uk” was being considered as invalid when creating a profile. The e-mail validation state-transition table was not allowing a digit immediately after the “@”. Fixed.
2. Bug 214 [Server] A client error would result if a system administrator banned another system administrator. Fixed.
3. Bug 215 [Client] Binds using the 4th and 5th mouse buttons (XButton1 and XButton2) were not pasing the mouse button clicks to other programs. Fixed.
4. Bug 216 [Client] A “Socket Error 10054” message would sometimes appear when contact was lost with the server, resulting in the client hanging such that only a Ctrl-Alt-Del action would terminate. Fixed. Two tests for equality should have been tests for IN-equality.
5. Bug 217 [Server] Server hung after 15 days of uptime and could only be terminated via Ctrl-Alt-Del. Code changed to eliminate a potential thread hang which will hopefully correct the problem.
6. Bug 198 [Setup] Mohawk Voice has been added to Windows’ Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs list. The user can obtain Mohawk support information, select either update or repair, or uninstall all components of a Mohawk Voice version.
7. Bug 200 [Client] User, channel, and connection names can now indlude the additional special characters: left and right parenthesis, plus, equals, exclamation point, carat and at-sign. That is: ( ) + = ! ^ @
8. Bug 204 [Setup] Improvements to style and graphic in the top header image.
9. Bug 206 [Client] A system administraor is no longer prompted to specify a user’s name when promoting a guest user to a registered user. The guest’s specified username is used as the user’s full name. The newly registered user can later change that name if desired.
10. Bug 207 [Client] New female voice audio clips have been added.
11. Bug 218 [Server] When a user connects or disconnects, the connect or disconnect message in the message log of a system administrtor now includes the IP address of the user logging on or off. Messages to non-system administrators do not include the IP address and are unchanged from earlier versions.
There are more fixes, changes, and additions too, but I'm too tired to post them. More tomorrow guys! Thanks for using Mohawk.
