Managing Mohawk Bans *Rough Draft*

1. Login as sysadmin: Make sure you're a sysadmin to perform these actions, or else the menus won't appear to you.

2. Find 'Manage Bans': In your Mohawk interface, you will see a tab on the toolbar called SysAdmin Functions. Once selected, in the drop down you will see a field called 'Manage Bans'. That's where we want to be, so select it.(Example (http://mohawkvoice.com/faq/banning-users/banning-users-1.JPG))

3. Using manage bans: Now that you're in the 'Manage Bans' interface, you can go about banning the user(s) you need to. Select the 'Add A New Ban' button on the bottom left. (Example (http://mohawkvoice.com/faq/banning-users/banning-users-2.JPG))

4. Finding the user: The first drop down box you see will be one to ban users. All users who have connected to your server will be listed. Select the desired user. This will be the most common way to set a ban. (Example (http://mohawkvoice.com/faq/banning-users/banning-users-3.JPG))

5. Banning by IP - Use this function if you need a ban a region, or entire class of IPs. This is very general though, and you may end up banning users who need to connect. Be careful with it.

6. Ban expires on - Self explanatory function, and the explanation next to the field should clear up most confusion.

7. Executing the ban: Once you've added the ban, the user will now appear in the 'Manage Ban' section, along with any already existing bans from Mohawk. (Example (http://mohawkvoice.com/faq/banning-users/banning-users-4.JPG))

8. Edit Selected Ban: Using this feature brings up a window just like the 'Add a New Ban' window we used a few steps ago to create the initial ban. See those steps for any questions.

9. Delete Selected Ban: Clicking this button when a users ban entry is highlighted will delete a ban WITHOUT a prompt. Make sure this is a ban you want to remove before you do it, as you will have to re-add the ban once deleted.

10. Delete ALL Bans: This function will clear your entire ban history, and will include a verification prompt. (Example (http://mohawkvoice.com/faq/banning-users/banning-users-5.JPG))
