Bugs and a feature

hi i love what you guys are doing with this voip program! would like to point out a couple bugs i have noticed and 1 feature i think that will add lots of success to this program. First bug, when a server shuts down or restarts and clients are in the server they receive a multiple socket error message that just keeps popping up and will not go away until using the task manager to close program. Second bug, when all files are downloaded if the libspeex file is not located next to the startup icon for mohawk it will not allow you to start up of course it says cant find that file, it is not a major bug because a folder can just be created and all files stay in there including the icon. One feature i would like to see added is where clients currently running mohawk can send files back in forth, for example if a team is ready to play a match and one member forgets to download a map then another member can send the file he needs. i believe this feature would work great for companies and organizations as well seeing as they can transfer files and speak to one another on a solitary program.

In our release coming this Friday we have the multiple sockets error fixed.

We considered file transfers but our concern for enabling illegal file sharing killed the feature.

The final release will have an installer package so you don't have to worry about manually unzipping the files (like you do now).

I was just wondering is Warez an issue in a VOIP? I mean i doubt someone will waste time sending a 2-6 gb game over a VOIP when they can clearly do so using a file hosting site easily. Or even torrent, Same thing applies to any type of warez, Music,Movies,Ect. I do like the sound of being able to simply give my squad files with a simple push of a button. & Xfire is still having problems with firewalls.


Let's make a note that Warez will always be here. You can't stop it, So if you guys did consider File Transfer and want it in use for Mohawk then please think about it. Warez is here with or without Mohawk...

NOTE: I ask that if you do add it, Could there be a log added for the name of the files. and how big they were please! :D

is there any way you can impliment the file sharing feature, but limit file extentions to game file types? like .bsp, .nav etc?
