I believe Windows after a fresh install is pre set to Line in as default recording input. Also mic boost is not enabled by default (Xp) . It would be nice if somewhere in Mohawk, preferably automatic, to enable mic boost and force volume manager to select Mic as the default input. and perhaps in options this auto switching can be turn on and off. this will save most userse the hassle exploring into volume management and trying to figure out why their mic is not working...
how easy this is to i do not know, but ill say it anyway ;).
