Would like an update as to final release. Also will the final release have wispering, as this is a feature I badly need in a voice comms application.:)
You need to get a move on as Mumble and Shockvoice are so far way ahead of u guys in sound quality and features. However your interface is still better.
Also your public server has been down for a few days now????

We are very close, stay tuned!
Perhaps I'm sheltered, however I've never heard anyone complain about the voice quality of Mohawk compared to other VOIP programs :)
It is very clear what Mohawk is supposed to do. I don't have much experience as far as what Mumble offers, but I've looked through the Shockvoice feature set, and its clear that it's having somewhat of an identity crisis. Its a VOIP that has a web browser, a whiteboard, that does your laundry and cooks breakfast.

I have honestly never heard of Shockvoice until this post. & Mumble is HORRIBLE!!! But i can honestly say after looking at Shockvoice, I can see how it is just way too bloated as a VOIP, BUT i can say a few of there features are revolutionary... I still have a feeling Mohawk Voice will be the biggest/most used VOIP in the upcoming years.

Shockvoice has some nice features like whiteboard, media player, and availability of a SQL backend, but I am not sure it is quite up-to-par with Mohawk in terms of performance and quality in voice.
C# has alot more overhead than the Delphi development language.

Whispering would be a nice feature to have, I wasn't to sure if I saw it when I was on the server yesterday, but the voice quality could be improved maybe. If I had to compare it to my current ventrilo server with the ventrilo being a 10/10 I'd have to give Mohawk and 8 or maybe 9/10. Its not quite as good, but its not bad enough to be a deal breaker.

I'm pretty happy with that assessment, considering Ventrilo has about 8 years of development and version control on their side.
Give us time, new features will be continually added, but we will not lose our focus of providing a high performance product.

You sir must be high? When i go back to Ventrilo i can't take it, Mohawk Voice is a godsend and it should be treated as that... Ventrilo can go die in a ditch!
This post may offend people... I hope it does! :)

I would have to agree, the voice quality IS better with Mohawk, even my non-techy friends have agree it sounds better. Perhaps time for a sound card upgrade if you cannot tell the difference.
